Miranda Lambert, mentor on NBC‘s Voice, and wife of Blake Shelton, recently took to to sound off about Chris Brown, in which Brown replied with some very vulgar remarks. Miranda Lambert hopped on Twitter following the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, where she posted: “Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl. Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.”

Miranda Lambert has no tolerance for men who beat on their women, which is something that Chris Brown was accused of by former flame, Rihanna. Miranda Lambert’s parents actually ran a shelter for abused women when she was growing up, so there is no question why she feels so strongly about the issue.

After her angry Tweet on Sunday, Chris Brown fired back with: “HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F*** OFF!” But soon after, Chris Brown’s post was deleted, and replaced with: “IM BACK SO WATCH MY BaCK as I walk away from all this negativity #teambreezygrammy.”

But Miranda Lambert is not about to let the Twitter war die, as she once again took to Twitter and said: ” Be who you are an stand for what u believe in. NO MATTER WHAT!,” adding: “Oh and one more thing for all who are asking….I have a Grammy too.” Obviously, those Tweets were directed at Chris Brown – let the war continue!

Actress and producer Katherine Heigl left "Grey's Anatomy" in 2010 after six seasons playing Dr. Izzie Stevens on the hit show, and the actress says she would "absolutely" like to step back into her scrubs once again.

But she admitted on Monday that - at times -- she regrets having left "Grey's Anatomy." "I always thought that there would be an opportunity to go back [to the show] for at least a few episodes to sort of wrap it up in a way that everyone could feel good about," Katherine told Access Hollywood at the premiere of her new movie, "One for the Money," in Los Angeles on Tuesday. "As of now, we're like, 'Where did Izzie go? What is she doing?'"So, I would love to kind of go back and have one more crack at her," she added.

While there were rumors that the now-33-year-old was no longer happy playing the quirky young doctor at the time of her exit, Katherine said Izzie will always have a place in her heart."I loved that character and she meant a lot to me," she told Access. Beyond talk of "Grey's," Katherine told Access that a recent trip to "The View" - where she brought adorable 3-year-old daughter Naleigh along for the interview - has revealed that her daughter may want follow in her mother's famous footsteps.

"The whole rest of the day she was like, 'I want to be on TV! I want to go on TV too,'" she told Access of Naliegh's newfound interest. "I was like, 'Oh no, it's over now.'""One for the Money," which also features Jason O'Mara, John Leguizamo and Sherri Shepherd, opens in theaters on Friday.

The world on Saturday bade the departed music legend, Whitney Elizabeth Houston, farewell in what her family christened “Home Going” service to celebrate the life of their precious daughter. The service, held at New Hope Baptist Church, Newark, New Jersey was attended by many celebrities and was streamed live on major TV networks in the world.

Attendees paid tributes to the late singer and words of encouragement were offered to her mother, daughter, and relatives.

In a farewell message published in the programme, Whitney’s mother Cissy Houston wrote:

“I never told you that when you were born, the Holy Spirit told me that you would not be with me long, and I thank God for the beautiful flower he allowed me to raise and cherish for 48 years.”

Rest, my baby girl in peace.

As the service came to a close and Whitney’s casket was being carried out of the church, her boyfriend Ray. J reached his hand out and touched the casket as it passed him down the aisle of the church, before collapsing into his seat overcome with emotions.

The service was not devoid of drama as the late singer’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown, was said to have stormed out of the service after what he termed “being disrespected” by the security men handling the sitting arrangement.

“My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.

I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene.

My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how,” his publicist said on his behalf.

However, the organizers of the event said Bobby actually failed the follow the laid down rule as he was invited to the event with two additional guests only for him to show up with 9 people without prior notice.

Rev. Al Sharpton and Bishop T.D. Jakes intervened by calming him down, and advised him to let the day be a mark of respect for Whitney.

 

Whitney will be laid to rest by her father’s grave on Sunday during a private ceremony at the Westfield Cemetery.
